Below, are frequently asked questions that we usually receive.
Q. How do I order?
A. After setting up an account with your information, simply select the items that you would like to purchase, add them to your cart, select the quantity, check out, enter your information, submit payment, that's it, you're done! Meals will be delivered the day of your choice if you are using our new meal plans menu, which at this time are Tuesdays and Fridays. *NOTE*: If you live in a gated or secured community, you will need to provide a code for our delivery team in the comments section of the check out page or let the security guard know that we will be coming. We do not want to have to call you at possibly 4 am when we are delivering your order. A member from logistics may contact you after your first order to go over any special details, discuss expected delivery times and so on.
Q. How is my order delivered?
A. We will reach out to you to discuss your schedule for delivery. We prefer to deliver your order directly into your hands so that we know it's going right into the fridge. If no one will be at the location to receive the order, we ask that you set out a cooler with ice packs so that your order remains cool until someone gets home. We used to provide a cooler bag and ice pack but can no longer afford to keep losing them to customers that never return them.
Q. How often do you deliver?
A. We have gone back to delivering twice a week (Tuesdays and Fridays) to residential locations. When using our meal plan menu, please select the day you would like your meals delivered. Deliveries times will generally range anywhere from 4am to 11am based on your location, traffic, etc. You will receive an email once your order has been delivered to your door. Please get your order into the refrigerator as soon as you receive it.
Q. Do you deliver anywhere?
A. At the current time, we only deliver to listed cities on the "Where We Deliver" page.
Q. What is the shelf life of the meals?
A. Typical shelf life when stored in the refrigerator is a maximum of 5 days. We don't suggest consuming anything after that period. We want you to have the freshest product available, so please do not order more than 5 days worth of food. This is why we deliver two times a week.
Q. How are the meals stored?
A. Unless otherwise stated, all meals are prepared fresh and are meant to be stored in the refrigerator.
Q. Can the meals be frozen?
A. We do not suggest it as we use zero preservatives to aid in a freezing process, but have had many great results from customers that have frozen their meals. Each meal is meant to be stored in the refrigerator.
Q. What else do I need to know?
A. If you are not going to be at your delivery address when we deliver, we ask that you set out a cooler with an ice pack (enough to keep cold for expected amount of time) so that your order doesn't spoil.
Q. What should I be eating for my diet?
A. We recommend speaking with your doctor or a certified nutritionist to go over dieting options for you. We are now allowed to give out dieting advice, yet we have plenty of recommendations of professionals that can. Let us know if you'd like a local referral. We're happy to help!
Q. Can I make adjustments or changes to my order?
A. Not at this time due to the fact that in the past we have tried to accommodate such requests like "no cheese" or "broccoli instead of green beans". In the future, we hope to be able to custom tailor your meal, but not at this time.
